Principal District Judge Toh Han Li

Mr Toh was appointed as District Judge in the State Courts in 2005, and served as Registrar from 2005 to 2008. He was appointed Principal District Judge in 2020.
Mr Toh served as a Justices’ Law Clerk from 1992 to 1994, before joining the Attorney-General’s Chambers as a State Counsel and Deputy Public Prosecutor from 1995 to 2000. From 2000 to 2005, he was a Senior Assistant Registrar at the Supreme Court. Mr Toh was also the Chief Executive and Commissioner of the Competition and Consumer Commission of Singapore from 2013 to 2019.
He has served on various tribunals including the Criminal Legal Assistance Steering Committee, the Adult Probation Case Committee, the Disciplinary Commission appointed under the Medical Registration Act, the Military Court of Appeal, the Copyright Tribunal, the Foreign Manpower Appeal Board, and the Appeals Advisory Panel to the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
Mr Toh was awarded the Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 2010, and the Long Service Medal in 2016.
